“I got a unique experience going to China right before the 2008 Summer Olympic Games. I was able to meet people from all over the world, and experience China as a tourist for a month. The China Foreign Affairs University was an amazing university that catered to diplomats and students who wish to one day be diplomats from all over the world. I made life long friends who I will never forget and always cherish. Classes were from 8am-12 noon daily with the rest of the day being spent studying or sight seeing. Every month we went on a cultural excursion to a famous location in Beijing. Experiencing China the language and the culture made me grow not only more confident in my language skills but also my aspirations for the future.”

“I am enrolled in the Contemporary Issues Program. I am scheduled to fly home on May 24th, but I am trying to change everything so I can stay in China for the summer. I love the people, the food, and the culture. My classes are also very interesting.”
"I am studying at Tsinghua University in Beijing as a student of Chinese Language Program. I will be here until the 27th of June. I am enjoying the experience."
