Leadership Studies Certificate

The Leadership Studies (LS) Certificate is designed to be a "value-added" experience to any major at Marietta College. Students can complete this certificate during their first two years in college. The LS certificate is particularly popular with majors that require substantial time commitment - i.e., Petroleum Engineering and Education. It focuses on the basics of leadership development - the core courses, two of the leadership practicum courses, and an elective. However, students in the LS certificate still have an opportunity to participate in many of the co-curricular activities open to all McDonough Scholars, including orientation, simulations, and service projects.
